School Community Youth Coalition

I value education and I’ll bet you do too.  My concern is that our neighbors don’t believe we do.

In the spring of 2011 KSJD began a project with the American Graduate Initiative to promote academic success.  SCYC and the OMNI Institute have worked with KSJD to survey the community (Montezuma and Dolores Counties) to discover beliefs around education.   We found that all adults value education yet only about 70% believe others value.  This data demonstrates a large misperception and you can help to change this by simply telling others that you value education.  You will be amazed to see how these simple conversations can help our community to prosper.
